Oriental rug 300 x 250 cm. Hand-knotted in Afghanistan. Wool pile with a low pile feel. Deep burgundy-red center with ivory, cream, navy, gold, taupe, and muted rose details. Central medallion layout with border bands and curved floral scrollwork.
The wool has a tighter knot structure than standard pieces like this, and the pile is denser under hand. Wool’s natural oils help it resist light spills better than many fibers. Vacuum it on a low setting. Spot clean with wool-safe shampoo. For a deep clean, use a professional wash. This style usually softens over time while keeping dye better than many rugs.
