Double-knotted high-quality Afghan Beljik rug, 11'9" x 8'4" ft, in wool with an ivory field and multicolor floral medallions. The border carries pale blue, cream, and terracotta. The pattern is dense but easy to read, with burgundy, teal, navy, sage, and rust holding the field together.
This is an everyday rug — sturdy pile, neutral palette. It is hand-knotted in Afghanistan and takes approximately 6 months per area-sized piece. Small asymmetries in the pattern are the weaver's mark, not defects. Spot clean with wool-safe shampoo, and use a professional wash for deep cleans. The wool foundation helps reinforce the base in high-traffic areas.
