Luxurious handmade rug featuring a tight, top-quality 50/50 double-knot 50/50 weave and soft sheep's wool amazingly soft to touch. Best Wool Rug 200 x 162 cm. Afghan Volayati area rug with a warm beige ground, navy outlining, and coral accents. Hand-knotted in Afghanistan. The pattern is dense, with a central medallion and floral border.
Merino wool on a cotton foundation. This one is woven on traditional wooden looms in Ghazni, with tighter knots than standard Volayati work and a denser feel under hand. Takes approximately 6 months per area-sized piece. The surface has the slight age wear and low ripple you expect from a real working rug.
