Handwoven Maimana Kilims are made in northern Afghanistan by Turkmen women in the village of Maimana using wool from their own sheep. This wool is known as the best wool in the region! The village is renowned for these simple, yet sophisticated weavings. Furthermore, these kilims are worked with natural coloring matters which shows together with the Ghazni wool the authenticity of this product.
You can use both sides of the kelim and because of it's beautiful soft colors, it's timeless and fits perfectly with your home design.
The colors in the carpet will be perceived differently depending on the angle you view it from and from the quality of your screen.
